Slow Chase’s debut EP The Blind Spot is a lean, bass-driven rock release built from sharp hooks, stripped-back arrangements, and a quiet refusal to posture. Across three tracks - from the swagger of Algernon to the cold vengeance of You’ll Never See Me and the slow-burn destruction of Sweet Fuse - the band explores the jagged overlap between abuse, anger, and survival.

Recorded at Mixmasters in Adelaide with American producer Jonathan Burnside (Faith No More, Grinspoon, The Melvins), the songs avoid the clichés and excesses of classic rock. Instead, The Blind Spot aims squarely for the dance floor - muscular and minimal, with just enough space for something darker to move in underneath.

There’s nothing nostalgic here, no pandering to the past. Just a laser-like focus on the songs themselves - big hooks, big riffs, and catchy melodies.
